We live in a great, growing community with lots of opportunities for young and old, but we can do better! I believe we need more transparency from our town council.  This involves having more direct connection with our constituents before the decision to invest on major capital expenditures and taking the time to fully explain the outcome of any decisions made.  I believe in responsible spending through exhausting all avenues of potential situations before just spending taxpayers' money.  An important feature of our community is our beautiful green spaces, it is important that these areas are preserved to enjoy for generations to come. I will fight to make sure that these areas are protected and safe. There are programs that I am passionate about, I would like the opportunity to bring them to reality, not just for Ward 2 but for all of New Tecumseth. They include but are not limited to,

Expanding more programs for:  Youth and Seniors 

Creating more Mental Health Awareness programs  

Improving diversity programs to assist new arrivals to thrive in our community 

Work with small businesses to help drive success and grow our local economy

 I plan on hosting quarterly communication meetings for Ward 2 to discuss what is going on in our town. I want to update you, my constituents, my neighbours, about decisions that have been made in council. I would love to hear any concerns you may have that I could bring forward on your behalf. Also, I would take the opportunity to inform you of upcoming actions that may potentially affect you and your family.   

I have lived in New Tecumseth for the past 20 years with my wonderful wife and our 3 daughters. This community embraced us when we moved here from the GTA and made us feel like family. I have never forgotten that and I feel it's time for me to go that extra mile to pay it forward.  I am very proud to have worked within the community for over 10 years through various volunteering efforts.  I have met some wonderful people and made some great memories.  Being a small business owner in New Tecumseth for the past 15 years has allowed me to develop a keen sense of what local businesses need to flourish.  All of these experiences have enhanced my leadership abilities and customer service values attuning me to new challenges in our growing community.  I am so excited about what this next chapter in our town's development will bring and I will strive to do my part for Ward 2 and New Tecumseth.
